Faceby Mole Control

I was asked to visit a farm that had a major mole problem on various fields, on visiting the site it was clear by the amount of activity that there was a serious infestation on the land. The main problems being reduced grazing, unsightly appearance and the risk of listeria contamination during haylage time into animal feed.

Over the course of a week over 100 moles were taken from this farm, although the surrounding farms were also suffering from a severe mole problem, over time this can lead to the area being reoccupied by moles from neighbouring farms, so regular trapping is essential to prevent the problem escalating to the original scale, which is inevitable over a period of time and during breeding seasons with mole dispersal for new territory.

Mole Catcher Surrey August 25, 2012

Wow, that looks like a fantastic weeks mole trapping. I am also a traditional mole catcher but most of my work comes from the domestic properties. Please can you give me some advice as to how i can obtain more agricultural work? How do you advertise for these sort of client? Keep up the good work and good luck with the mole catching.

  Mostly it’s word of mouth and the web. If you do a good job, and people are happy with the service, they will recommend and use you again. Small gardens and area’s are a lot easier than putting 100-200 traps in the ground on arable land.
  Good luck with getting some agricultural work.
